A long time coming
It's been such a long time since I have even looked at my blog, much less written anything. Nothing like receiving a couple hundred comment notification emails to remind myself of the inner ring's existence. Of course, those comments weren't from the many people I know are waiting for an update, rather they are from my adoring fans who are trying to interest me in lower insurance rates, cheaper drugs, more powerful drugs, high-stakes poker, and the like. Though prolonged absences on my part are not all that uncommon, this time I have a legitimate excuse: work has been crazy-busy, I moved to a different city, I bought a new car, I think I even had a week of no internet access in there. Hrmm... apparently that is more than one excuse. Of course the move to a different city was the most influential for my silent blog -- I guess "different city" may be a little strong considering the move was a mere 4 miles and all I basically did was cross a river to be in a different city.
This rambling post is mostly just a "welcome back" to the world of blogging as I will attempt to merge my other life changes with a concerted effort at adding content to this space. Yep... we shall see how long that lasts. And let's be realistic here, don't expect everyday entries. That's just a little too obssessive even for me (no offense to those who do update everyday, I just can't bring myself to do that). Well, see you soon.
